Welcome to the National Construction Week (NCW) website

National Construction Week 2009 will take place across the UK between 8th and 12th October. The aim of this not for profit week is to inform young people and their influencers about the many and varied careers available in The Modern Construction Industry and to give Industry an opportunity to engage with young people.

Whilst Construction Skills will organise 66 events plus a launch event, we need the help of the Industry and the Education Sector to hold events (with our advice and support where required). All we ask is that your event is registered on this website. These events can range from work shadowing, car finance taster days, a talk in school, a site visit to huge design and build challenges for 200 young people! Small local events are just as welcome.

Help is available in the form of a toolkit containing an ideas bank, PR guide and general advice for event organisers. Please register by clicking on the link below to receive the toolkit and for any future updates.
